This listing is for an authentic pair of beautifully beaded reservation period Sioux ceremonial moccasins, circa 1900-1910. This pair of soft buckskin moccasins are fully beaded on the toes, ankles, heels and completely beaded on the soles in typical turn of the century Sioux stylings and colors. They are seed beaded in colors of red, dark blue, light blue, orange, and green on a white background. They measure 9 inches long x 3 inches wide and are in excellent condition with no visible bead loss at all. T is a beaded rim around the ankle cuffs and the original tie straps are still attached. These type of moccasins fully beaded on the soles were only worn during ceremonies, sun dances and special events and were not used or designed for every day wear. Colorful with very nice art appeal, these moccasins came from a large, private estate of authentic Plains & Plateau Indian historic period artifacts that contained a lot of terrific Crow, Cheyenne and Sioux bead work and would make an excellent addition to your own Native American collection. Serious bidders and collectors only please. A very nice Buy it Now price and a lot of beautiful bead work the money! Thanks for your interest!
