This is an original ca 1966 Thailand bush hat, owned by a United States Air Force EB-66 navigator who flew over 100 missions over North Vietnam. This tan bush hat has the navigator’s Major rank pin on the front, and a Thailand tab patch sewn on the raised right flap. In addition, he has made hash marks for each mission on the front and back of the hat. The front has 100 hash marks and the back has 16. The inside of the hat is bright orange and the former owner’s name is inked inside.
