Up for bid is a CACF set of 8 cofee cups. A charming set of Faenza pieces!

At the end of 1945 in Faenza, a group of craftsmen joined together to set up a co-operative society C.A.C.F. (Cooperativa Artigiani Ceramisti Faentini). Once the war was over in 1945, Faenza, like many other Italian towns was in a critical situation. Many ceramic workshops had been destroyed by bombs and fire. They restored the premises of a glorious factory, the "Antica Fabbrica Farina" and began the production using the ancient moulds of 19th century. The factory is even today the most important one in Faenza and the region for the production of maiolica.

The cups are 3 1/4" in diameter. All are in gorgeous condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.

A fantastic addition to your Faenza collection, sure to liven up any table! Enjoy!
