This is a Cairns N5A New Yorker Leather helmet. I bought the helmet used and never wore it. It is in good condition, it appears it seen very little if any fire at all. It is a medium in size and has the brackets for a ratchet, but it doesn't have one in it at this time. The orginal brass chin strap brackets are broken, but t are plastic holders on the side as seen in the picture of the bottom of the helmet and they work fine. The liner and ear flapps are in like new condition and the borkes are as well. The tag inside the helmet has fallen off, but I was told it was made in 1996.
