Greetings!
This 100% natural amethyst elestial quartz crystal weighs 3 LBS and measures approximately 6" x 4" x 2.5".

W do I begin trying to describe this piece.....? I pulled this one out about 5 years ago from a rare hydrothermal vent system at the boundary between the Basin and Range and the Sierra Nevada. Also known as Petersen Peak. I was planning on keeping this piece until the end of my days, to show my grandchildren when I get old, but unfortunately, times are hard right now and I'm forced to sell it just to get by until I can get into a doctorate program.
This crystal is without a doubt, a museum-quality display specimen. T are so many aspects to this crystal that you can almost always find something new. I've owned it for many years and every time I unwrap it I see new things about it. It's almost as if the piece changes with time as your consciousness changes. It is crystallized on all sides except w the sceptered shafts once penetrated the two main crystals. This piece is basically two large amethyst crystals stuck together. The outside is a maze of hopper growth and parallel growth patterns which look like liquid pouring over a strange topography. The inside is composed of a gorgeous blend of amethyst, smoky, and citrine. The three primary colors of quartz all in one piece!!! To make it even better t is a large triangular section inside the crystal which contains ancient liquid millions of years old and a floating gas bubble which moves back and forth in the triangular chamber. Truly amazing!!!
I 've been offered 800$ for this crystal but am starting it out for half that price!!! Please take the time to look at all the pictures, as they say much more than my descriptions ever could. Furthermore, seeing and holding the piece in person is far better than the pictures could ever hint at....
