California Highway Patrol CHP Streamlight SL-20X Rechargeable Flashlight This auction is for a used California Highway Patrol issue Streamlight flashlight model # SL-20X-26060. The flashlight has the letters "CHP" engraved on it near the switch. The flashlight features an aircraft aluminum body, a high output halogen bulb, brand new rechargeable nickel-cadmium battery, A/C charger (110V wall outlet) and sleeve. No manual or other paperwork is included. The box may be slightly different than in the picture. Flashlight has minor wear around the tail cap, the outside cone of the bulb housing and the screw ring that holds the bulb in place. This is a CHP surplus item, as the CHP is changing from the halogen SL-20 to the LED SL-20 lights. These flashlights are the standard for most law enforcement agencies in the United States. They're super durable, heavy duty and built to last for decades. I personally have owned one for over 20 years that is still working today. Of course I have had to replace the bulb and battery pack, but the body of the flashlight is still intact and has no problems. Makes a great gift for that special CHP officer you might know.
