New Original Design by Kevin Prochaska, Glass artist at Disneyland for more than 10 years. The Calla Lily, a simple and graceful flower is prized throughout the world for its elegance, sophistication and purity. Over the years the artist has produced several different calla lily designs, often for display at weddings. This particular offering is by far the most spectacular. The special shape of the softly ruffled foliage has a remarkable ability to reflect light and the solitary bloom resting atop a lofty stem is composed of a single graceful ribbon of glass encircling a thick, upright stamen. The entire calla lily sculpture is carefully made of hand blown borosilicate crystal, shaped by the artist. Kevin's choice of heavy polished black marble to use as a base complements the design beautifully. This elegant sculpture is unique to Prochaska Galleries and is personally signed by Kevin.
