Up for auction is a beautiful set of CallawayX Forged Irons (2-P), along with (3) Wedges, and a matching Callaway Stand Bag. Add your own woods and putter into the mix, and you have a complete set. I’m a bit of a golf junkie, and spare no expense to have all the toys. My personal golf “pro-shop” is busting at the seams, and I am forced to reduce my inventory by selling some of my golf equipment. I’m extremely picky with all of my equipment. None of it is “off the shelf”. All of my equipment has been custom built by the factory, including these irons. Irons : This auction includes an almost new set of Callaway X-Forged Irons, 2 Iron through Pitching Wedge (2-P). This is a 2009 set that has NEVER been taken to the course and have never played a round of golf! I did take some swings on the range with some of them, and some of the irons have never been hit at all. This set was custom made at Callaway Golf in Carlsbad, CA after a fitting at the Callaway Performance Center. The irons are 1” over standard length with standard lies and lofts. Although the irons have Project X 5.5 shaft labels, the irons were built a tad firmer to a 5.8 flex. I have brand new Golf Pride Mid-Size Decade Grips in White/Black color. These irons are gorgeous, absolutely pure, and almost in new condition—a 9.5+ out of 10. Wedges : Also included in this auction are three Callaway X Tour Wedges in 52, 56 and 60 degree lofts. The wedges have Project X shafts in 5.5 flex (shaft labels say 6.5, but they are 5.5) and brand new Golf Pride Mid-Size Decade Grips in White/Black color to match the irons. These are used wedges in 7.5-8/10 (very good) condition and show little sign of wear, aside from the oxidization of the black finish. These are very much players wedges built to match the iron set. Golf Bag : The golf bag included in the auction is a Callaway Warbird X Stand Bag in Black color. It is in new condition. I purchased this bag to go with the irons that were never used. It features the following: · Weighs 6 pounds without strap and hood · 9.5" top with 7 full-length dividers · Izzo adjustable 3-point double strap · Xtra Traction Fang base with stabilizing stand system · 7 pockets including 5 zipper pockets and a cooler-lined water bottle pocket · Clear soft molded handle · Umbrella holder · Rain hood · Nylon fabric I will ship via USPS Priority within the 50 states. Winning bidder will add $20 to cover the cost of shipping the irons, wedges and golf bag. I have no problem sending them internationally, but international bidders must contact me prior for shipping charges. Immediate payment via PayPal is required.
