This is a set of Callaway's praised Tour Authentic X Prototype irons! The set consists of 3-P (8 clubs). They are standard in length and loft. The lie angle is 2* flat and ordered that way straight from the factory. The grips are in MINT condition. They are Golf Pride's New Decade Multi-Compound black and white grips, a personal favorite of many tour players including Phil Mickelson. They are also equipped with True Temper Dynamic Gold S300 steel shafts. As I alluded to earlier, everything about this set is original and special ordered from the Callaway factory. Folks, let me tell you, these are incredible sticks! Finding these will become increasingly more difficult because they were only a limited release in 2010 and are no longer in production. These retail for $1,500.00! As for the condition of these babies: They are as close to new-in-box as you can get. I am a golf professional, and unfortunately they saw action in far too few of rounds. To give you an idea as to how little they were played, I received these in September of 2010, and my last round played was the third week of October. I can confidently say they have seen less than 5 rounds total. They are MINT! On a scale of 1-10, with 10 being new-in-box, these are a 9.5! As I alluded to in the description, the specs on this set differs from the majority of the oh so few sets available. You'll find that most sets are stuck with the Project X shafts, which just don't cut it for many accomplished players. If you're looking for an incredible feel, a very attractive look, superb grips, excellent shafts in the S300's, and some jealous stares from your playing partners, this truly is the set for you. Certainly one of a kind and any golfer's dream to have in their bag. Play what Phil and Ernie play! Plus, it's pretty cool to wield sticks with the "Prototype" stamping.
