The Cambridge Glass Company manufactured this magnificent, large - 12" - transparent pink glass vase during the 1930's. It's etched with their "Tulip" pattern and both the vase and etch are shown in the company's 1930-34 catalog of pieces reprinted by the National Cambridge Collectors, Inc. This pattern is stunning on a large vase -- three long tulips with stems and leaves repeat three times around the soft optic paneled center portion of the vase. A band of tiny tulips and leaves surrounds the top edge -- beautiful workmanship! It stands 12 inches high, has a top rim diameter of 7-1/4" and base diameter of 5-1/4". Tap the vase and it rings like a bell! T are no chips, cracks, fleabites, no cloudiness or residue. T are a couple light surface scratches. Some table rub marks on the bottom and a few little bubbles. Excellent condition. All edges are smoothly finished. Lovely soft pink with no orange. The vase would hold at least a dozen long-stemmed roses ... tulips ... Packed with care to assure its safe arrival.
