Depression Era RARE Green Cambridge Doorknob Company Maker: Unknown: Possible : The Cambridge Glass Company Color: Green Item: Doorknob with original hardware (as shown --- other hardware may be needed for actual installation Circa: 1920s-1930s US Postage (including insurance) on this striking item is $7.00! Condition: This colorful green Doorknob is extremely hard to find. It is thought to have been made by the Cambridge Glass Company. There are records that this shape of doorknob was produced by Cambridge, but other companies made doorknobs during the Depression Era as well. The glass parts of this awesome piece are in Undamaged Condition without chips, cracks, or mold damage. The brass hardware has dulled from age. The metal bar that runs between the two knobs is original. This metal piece has some common pitting from age. It does not show when this piece is put into a door. Doorknobs have been reproduced. They do not have the quality or clarity of the original old ones and the attached metal fittings are obviously not of the same quality or thickness. They look new.
