This is a stunning AMETHYST Cambridge glass in FARBER Bros. chrome-plated metal holders ball Decanter and 5 shot glasses set. The set is in perfect condition, except for one small shallow chip at the end of the stopper, as shown in the picture. The glass has beautiful deep Amethyst color, the chrome has absolutely no signs of wear. The ball part of the stopper has a UNIQUE sculptured design with ridges, as seen in the picture. The Farber Bros Co was founded in 1915 in New York and developed their chrome-plated "clip on-clip off" metal holders in 1932. They worked mostly with Cambridge Glass, but also with other glass companies. This set is from 1930's-1940's, each piece is fully marked on the bottom. A rare find to add to your collection.
