This Auction if for a Very Hard To Find Example of the Early Near Cut Glassware that was Produced by the Cambridge Glass company in the early 1900's. It is from their Design 2651 line referred to today as the "Inverted Feather" line. This particular piece was never in the standard production line for Cambridge. Rather it was hand crafted and shaped from the cake salver in the line to form the turned up sides of the very popular Banana Boats/Holders from the late 1800's to the early 1900's. It stands 7 inches tall and measures 10 inches across. It IS signed in the center with the embossed olog NEAR CUT. This Banana Boat is in Very Excellent Condition with NO Chips and NO Fractures and NO Wear Showing. Thanks for checking out my auctions and if you have any questions, please email me.
