This is a bound folio of the only 24 issues of :"The Cambridge News The First Daily Newspaper Issued In Cambridge" Published by John P. Callahan 1873-1874 If you collect esoteric and hard to find small newspaper runs this is for you. The papers are in very good condition with minimal age toning. Each issue is just 4 or 5 pages including one or two pages of ads. The news is written in a lively manner with a definite bias. The last issue credits the Boston Globe for their help printing the issues. The editor is James Moran and it was printed by G. L. Keyes. It covers just after Christmas to January 24th. The bound covers have some staining and have done their job protecting the newspapers within. Postage for this item is $4 for shipping in the USA
