Antique Camel Back Steamer Trunk (Rare) Approximate size: 36"(W) x 28"(H) x 21"(D) This is a remarkable Find! Would look Great in any living room, family room or den. You are viewing an antique steamer with a domed humpback top. The chest is wooden and very old - inside t are several handwritten "friendship / love letters" dated 1914 (with cancelled 2 cent postage) while on a trip to Europe. T is a "mystery" picture in t of a woman Also, T are 5, removable, layered shelves inside. A ll have dual pull straps - the corners of the trunk are metal reinforced. T are 4 metal Steamer feet on the bottom. The 2 Front swing latches are original, as is the lock (sorry, no key) Great Condition ! ... Check out the photos Sorry - I was thinking of the wrong trunk! This one DOES NOT have a center lock. It does have the two, solid working swing latches though. I apologize. The photos are of the correct trunk.
