Campagnolo is 50 years old. 50 years of racing victories, but first and foremost, 50 years of technical victories. Note: Crank dust cap tool not included in this group set. The Gruppo del Cinquantenario collection was designed to mark this important occasion. It is an exclusive limited series of products, autographed and numbered specially for all those enthusiasts who make cycling not only a sport, but also a lifestyle. The 50 th Anniversary group set (Gruppo del Cinquantenario) appeared on the market in 1983, this was a sad year for Campagnolo as Tullio Campagnolo, the company’s founder, died in February of this year. The second of the group sets was presented to Pope John Paul the second and the top group set, Super Record, adopted the brake design first introduced by the 50 th Anniversary group. It was a wonderful looking group at the time and now you wouldn’t ride it, put it up on the wall and admire it, but not use it.
