Cambell Scale Models Craftsman Wood Kit Old Timey 1800's - Early 1900's Summer Bandstand Real Wood, Plastic DETAIL PARTS, Shingles, Flag etc. Craftsman Kit BRAND NEW In Original Box This Kit is Considered an Easy - Medium Skill Level or Introductory Kit ITEM DESCRIPTION: 1/87 HO Scale Campbell Scale Models Kit No. 200-383 Summer Bandstand kit Brand New in original box! This craftsman kit will build one (1) prototypically super detailed Old Timey Town Summer Bandstand you can be pround to display. The kit contains a variety of stripwood shapes & sizes to be cut to size and glued together. The kit includes a bag of white plastic detailing parts which includes wrought iron bench end pieces, turned posts, corbels, railings etc. There is a roll of Campbell's infamous shingles with cardboard roof sub-panels with lines for perfect shingle layout. The kit includes an American Flag with 48 stars which was used from 1912-1959. The kit also includes Detailed step-by-step instructions and true-to-size patters to use during assembly. Each step states what part is required for said step. For instance, STEP 5 requires 4 pcs of 5/32" x 5/16" x 3-1/4" Cornice beam wood and 96 pcs of the plastic corbels. The step then tells you exactly what to do with said parts. For instance: Attach waxed paper over View C-C. Cut the eight Cornice Sections ( A4) per the drawing uing the wood provided. Use tiny dabs of glue to attach the Sections to the waxed paper ... The instructions give you a brief history for Summer Bandstands, hints for assembly and for painting the structure.
