A VERY RARE GEM ROUGH, NO LONGER AVALABLE ANYW-CAMPBELLITE, A BISBEE CONGLOMERATE OF COPPER IN CALCITE WITH CUPRITE, AND BRIGHT RED CHALCOTRICHITE WITH STRINGERS OF MINOR MALACHITE. THIS RARE MINERAL WAS ONLY FOUND FROM THE 1200 FOOT LEVEL TO THE 3200 FOOT LEVEL IN THE CAMPBELL SHAFT MINE IN BISBEE ARIZONA. THE MINE IS NOW FLOODED AND WAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED IN 1975. THIS 2.3 POUND NUGGET MEASURING 6.7 INCHES BY 4.3 INCHES BY 2.5 INCHES WAS MINED IN THE LATE 1940'S.THIS IS THE LAST PIECE OF ROUGH THAT I HAVE,AND THE CUT STONE SHOWN IN THE LISTING IS INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION. THE STONE WEIGHS 13. 5 CARATS AND MEASURES 20MM BY 14MM BY 5MM.
