This is the dress shoulder patch from the famous Canadian Airborne Regiment and Canadian Special Service Force. It depicts the golden wings and dagger (actually a V-42 fighting knife) and the motto OSONS (LET US DARE!) It is embroidered on very dark green felt and is in new unworn condition. These patches were worn on both shoulders of the Canadian dress uniform. This once great military elite outfit was disbanded in March 1995 after an unfortunate incident. I can personally attest to their utmost professionalism since I spent time with them and made several parachute jumps on Anzio DZ at Petawawa CFB in 1984 and again in 1986. This patch and other Canadian military items I have came from military sources in Canada.
