19.25 x 27.25" printed cotton in form of tri-color British Union Jack with central portrait of Sir Wm. D. Otter. Otter (1843-1929) commanded the Battleford column in the North-West campaign of 1885 and served as the first commander of the Royal Canadian Regiment of Infantry. Knighted in 1913, he was only the second native Canadian to reach the rank of General. Not in "Threads."Condition: Slightly faded and a few very small holes, not in portrait, VG-.
