This is a beautiful set of Canadian Five Cent pieces put together by my late husband. They are so clear that they appear to be about uncirculated, but I cannot say that they are. It is just that they are that nice looking. This set is only missing the 1926 Far 6. T were a few typewritten notes within this booklet and I will share some of that The "Nickel" series dates from the year 1922, replacing the slim silver "fish scales" which corresponded to the United States half-dime. Due to nickel being required for war needs, part of the 1942 five cent pieces were made of "Tombac" - an alloy of .88% copper and .12% zinc. The 1943 nickel is also "Tombac" but has a new reverse. I hope this helps somewhat. I am putting two sets of the five cent pieces on E-Bay at this time. Should you win both, they can both be shipped in a medium flat rate priority mail box in the United States for $10.35 rather than paying $10.35 for just one set. Postage within the United States will be either $10.35 for priority mail flat rate or $8.75 for parcel post. Insurance will be optional to you, the Buyer, for an additional fee of $1.95. Shipping to Canada will be $7.25 for first class mail international or a flat rate priority mail box to Canada, unfortunately, is rather high at $25.95. So shipping will be left to the Buyer. T is no insurance available to Canada. Payment is through Pay Pal only and would also be appreciated within 72 hours of the close of auction. I will offer a refund, but return shipping will be at the expense of the Buyer as well as the Pay Pal fees and the E-Bay fees. I believe our feedback does speak for itself. So far, everyone has been very satisfied. Thanks so much for looking. I am slowly trying to dispose of the entire Canadian collection.
