This is an absolutely lovely serving tray in the Candlewick pattern made by The Imperial Glass Company. Candlewick was made from 1936 to 1984 due to its popularity. This piece is most likely from the 1950's as it belonged to a friend's mother who passed away. This is a very elegant piece of glass and would be perfect for serving sandwiches. Candlewick is identifiable by the little glass hobnails around the edges of the pieces of glass. This large plate would make an attractive addition to your collection and is sure to impress everyone.The platter measures 11 5/8" across the center and 13 1/2" from handle to handle. Please use photos to judge quality and condition. This plate weighs 2 pounds 5 ounces empty! It does have some use scratches, but no chips or cracks. This is truly a beautiful piece.
