Located at 35 degrees 3 minutes North, 111 degrees 2 minutes West" This site is now known as "Meteor Crater." "It is classified as an Iron, coarse octahedrite (IA). The average composition is 92% Fe and 7% Ni. Diamonds have occasionally been found within carbon deposits associated with this type of meteorite."
