You are bidding on a CAPEHART 112 N2 Console Tube Radio.

I recently purchased this radio locally from a gentleman who just aquired it from a lady who had it in her family since it was purchased new in around 1946.

The radio was cherised and cared for and kept in immaculate condition.

Unfortuneately the radio does not power at this time. The gentleman that I bought the radio from said it was working great up until a few days ago when it blew a fuse. I did a bit of research and found that it is not recommended to run these radios without first having a qualified tech go through and replace the old capacitors. So I have not even attemted to power the radio myself. I feel it would be best to leave it up to the new owner. I certainly do not want to be responsible for damaging a magnificent radio like this one.

It is no wonder why these radios are so, so, desirable. I just can not believe the quality and craftsmanship.

Overall condition is original and unrestored and very very clean.

The cab does show some blems, but considering the age I would call this radio PRISTINE. Structurally it is in excellent shape with no major defects of any kind.

As you can see from my many pics the radio is intact and most likely completly original.
