Here we have an absolutely beautiful Capodimonte figure depicting a young Shepherd Crafted by the very popular and successful artist Giuseppe Armani. Giusppe Armani worked for a studio called Florence from Siena, Italy. His works of art are very much in demand with collectors today. This piece was produced around the 1960's A wonderful sculpture, depicting a young barefoot shepherd sitting upon a outcrop petting a sheep standing by his side. The detail captured in this sculpture is outs tanding! From the young mans face and chest to the the sheeps wool. A piece of superb quality. Set upon a wooden plinth with gold scrolls in the typical capodimonte style. Armanis signature in impressed into the base. The blue "N" naples symbol is stamped to the base at the rear. This piece is in PERFECT condition with no chips or cracks and no restoration. Stands an impressive 13" high so is a good sized sculpture and very heavy!
