Offered is the original cover proof to Captain Marvel Adventures #145 from June, 1953. This proof is comprised of a hand colored illustration of the cover to Captain Marvel Adventures #145 which was used during the actual process of making the comic back in 1953. The image measures 7" x 10 ¼" and is glued to a board which measures 10" x 15". Written in the margins are engraver's notes indicating which colors should be used. The image is in excellent condition aside from some very minor glue stains which bled through from the back. Overall a beautiful piece of Fawcett comic book history.
