'CARACOL' CIGAR BOX w US 122 STAMP & 1912 CUBAN STAMP Album Album Album Album Antique wooden sample size cigar box advertising "Caraco" Havana cigars. Box measures about 5 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches, and 1 inch deep. It held five cigars. It has the original US tax stamp, series 122, and original "Republica de Cuba, Serie A, No. 1" export stamp, with 1912 date.Top of lid has embossed paper gold medals for first prize honors won at international expositions. Foldout paper leaf under lid has lithograph view of the Havana factory of F. Garcia y Hermanos, the manufacturers.Box has some staining inside and on the top, and some paper loss at corners and edges.
