This is an original used Antique Solar Carbide Head Lamp I've owned it for years. Made by The Badger Brass Mfg. Co. of Kenosha, Wisconsin. It's about 6 7/8" tall.Patent dates on bottom are 1896, 1898, and 1899. I think these Lamps were used from the late 1890's to the mid 1920's It would've been on an early Bicycle or Motorcycle. It'd clamp to the handlebar neck or steering head.( If this sells, I'll also list a nice original Mounting Bracket Clamp that fits this Lamp and perhaps others. )There's a solder repair on water tube, a small ding on water resevoir, ceramic burner top is broken, there's a short split with dings on lens bezel, and a small chip at outer edge of lens hidden by retainer ring. Red and green side lenses are both good. No cracks, no breaks. The Solar top vent cap is good and straight.Excellent plating. An attractive accessory to complete an early bicycle or motorcycle. Weighs almost 2 pounds. I'll mail it anywhere in the lower 48 States for $9.99 Shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, and International destinations will be for postage plus 15% to cover associated shipping expenses. Example : If postage is $20, your total shipping cost will be $23. Shipping will to be determined at end of auction. Please do not attempt to pay in advance. I will email your invoice. Also, please Thank you for your consideration and
