This auction is for a N.O.S. positive carbon rod feed assembly from an unknown carbon arc lamp. This unit has two connecting rods. One rod for rotation of the carbon rod and one for feeding. Also has a knob to lock the carbon into position. This unit is 11.5" from one end to the other. The gear box is 5" long and 4" high. Again, t is no identification on this unit, but it is new and never used. You feed the carbon into the long snout and it is pulled through by the gears on the other side.
This takes a 10mm carbon that should be at least 12" long to be able to feed it into the snout and have it pop out the other end.
