6 Cards Vintage Ribbon Trim Silk Rosette Four Metallic

Up for auction are six cards of vintage ribbons and trims, from approximately 1940 to the present. All but two are in extremely good and very clean condition. I've noted the country of origin if it is listed on the label, guessed at several with French words but no country listed or no label still attached. These are some of a large group of vintage velvets on reels, as well as vintage silk, rayon and metallic trims, that I'll be listing in the next weeks. Please check back and see what else I will be offering. If you need any additional information regarding these ribbons, please ask and I'll do my best to answer. Keep in mind that some of the ribbons and trims will be from the early part of the last century and will not necesarily have any labels left or still be wrapped on their original cards. Starting on the left - this is a very narrow ruched ombre ribbon, at 3/16" wide, a soft blue fading into creamy beige. When I measured, I noticed several areas of either storage discoloration or dirt/dust on parts of it. None of the areas was more than a few inches long and they might wash out with not too much of a problem. This is a piece that is 18 and 1/2 yards long, so there is plenty to work with. The second is a newer silk rosette trim, very very pale minty green and very pale pink, and I think either a white with a bluish tinge or an extremely pale blue. It is a beautiful, soft trim, about 3/8" wide and about 9 yards long. The third is a lovely silkish and metallic trim, pale blue and pink with gold metallic threads running through it. It is 3 and 1/2 yards long and 7/16" wide. The fourth is another metallic trim, pale pink with gold threads. It is 5/8" wide and about three inches short of 2 yards. This trim has two discolored spots, one you can see in the picture. The fifth is a silky gold flat braided trim with a thin metallic thread or very fine cord running through it. It is quite narrow at 3/16" wide and is about 4 and 1/2" wide. The last is a gauzy medium blue trim, 7/8" wide, with darker gold metallic threads. There is a pale blue line running through the middle. This trim is in two lengths, one 4 yards long and the other 8 yards long. Payment is expected in three days.
