This is a Vintage Carl Zeiss Jena Dienstglas BLC+ 10 x 50 Vintage Military Binoculars. If my research is correct these were from the WWII era ?? Case has imprinted cny 43. See photo. From a local estate of a retired Navy officer. Read details below before bidding.Cosmetics-Heavy wear and paint loss. Covering has coating loss on the main body. Mostly around the bottom strap lugs and where it would have been gripped on the top. Right side Dienstglas plate has dents and the screw heads are worn with one broken off/pulled through. Some white paint loss on the lettering. Corrosion and paint loss on the center hinge area and is stiff to move. The right side large ocular cover will spin freely if you try and turn it. Like the threads are stripped but holds on otherwise. Inside of the case and binoculars have a strong musty age smell to them. See lots of pictures of what you are getting.Operational Condition-Image is sharp with no ghosting. Eye controls adjust through their ranges but turn sloppy loosely without much resistance. Additionally the right eyepiece reticule is turned diagonally off center and has lots of black specs. I am not sure if those are loose particles or damage to the element ?? Optics have lots of internal specs, particles, and haze when I shined a flashlight through them. Sold AS IS.Includes the binoculars, attached
