The lens is a Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 165mm f 2.7 to f 32.No.7053CO I have had this lens forever, and not owning a large format camera, never had a chance to use it.This is built for mounting on a lens board for use with a focal plane shutter, and does not have a focus ring or shutter. The only adjustment is for aperture. The lens is not a coated. Condition is not too bad inside, but there is some discoloration in spots, and if you are a fanatic, I would have it cleaned. The barrel shows the years of wear on the outside, and has the scuffs to prove it. Now you know as much as I do, but if you still have any questions, I will do my best to answer. I have been told that this lens can be hard to find, at least until you want to sell one (grin). Its a heavy puppy, and there is a lot of glass in there. If you do not have a large format camera, this would make a wonderful paper weight!
