Bright dark orange square pub advertising pitcher, 7 ¼" tall, 3 3/8" on a side, with a prim little spout, and deeply recessed side behind a shallow handle; very sleek and stylish. In black and brown/gold on two sides, "The George & Dragon," below a graphic of, well, St. George and the dragon. Impressed '2879' and signed in gold, "Carlton Ware. Made in England Trade Mark." The inside is white. The whole surface of the pitcher is the same deep, vibrant color; reflections in my pictures make it look as though the color fades towards the bottom. Mint condition.
