This is the smaller of the two purse-style vases currently within the Carlton Ware collection, this one depicting an excellent likeness of one of the Fab Four Beatles - Ringo Starr. Tony Cartlidge , the artist calls this a 'Beatles Study' and there are similar vases with the three other members of the Group projected in this same manner. This is the small vase, measuring 5 inches (13 cms) by 5 inches (13 cms). The rear of this vase has a painting showing the word 'Peace'; the other Band Members have an alternative song title on the back of their vases. It is completely unmarked and has no chips/nibbles. The base is backstamped appropriately in gold and shows 1/1 with the addition of the artist's initials and his description 'Beatles Study'. I can provide further photos of the base or elsewhere if required. The Buyer is resonsible for all post and packing charges. UK Postage is £3.95.
