Carlton Ware Chinese Figures Lidded Jar A really nice lidded jar, (shape 244) in pattern 3199 'Chinese Figures'by Carlton Ware from the 1930's. It stands approximately 7 1/4" tall (185mm for the metrically aware) to the tip of the finial. Condition is is good for it's year with only a little wear to the gilding where the lid sits, and a small hairline inside the rim of the jar to report (see pic) which does not show through to the outside. The lid is undamaged, but does have a tiny amount of wear to the gilding on the finial, mentioned for accuracy only. All all the above look worse in the pictures than in real life. Marked to base as shown in the pictures. Please note: eBay now require sellers to provide a postage cost.
