Description:- For auction we are listing this Carlton Ware Pink Buttercup preserve & stand. Size:- Measures approx.4.5 inches high with stand. Condition- In very good condition for it's age, there are no chips or cracks. There is a very light amount of the normal age related glaze crazing - but this is barely discernable. The interior has a small degree of discolouration often found in such items - but this is not at all visible on the exterior. Fully marked on the base tray with the "Carlton Ware Made In England Trade Mark Registered Design Registration Applied For" backstamp. As usual the paste bottom of the pot itself is unmarked.This would be a nice addition to any Carlton Ware collection.
