Description:- For auction we are listing this Art Deco Carlton Ware napkin ring in the form of a bird - which is one of the more difficult shapes to find. Size:- Measures just under 4 inches high. Condition- In very good condition for it's age, there are no chips, cracks or age related glaze crazing. The decoration is in immaculate condition, with no paint loss whatsoever. In common with other Carlton napkin rings in my collection this particular piece is simply marked "Made In England" - but I have 4 of these birds (all identical) & only one is marked with the Carlton Ware stamp. For the purpose of verification, I have included a photo of the fully marked one with the "Carlton Ware Made In England Trade Mark" backstamp alongside the one I am listing. Please note that it is the bird with the "Made In England" stamp that is for auction. This piece would be a nice addition to any Carlton Ware, Art Deco or Napkin Ring collection.
