Carnival Three Fruits Bowl in Light Smoke or Clambroth

In this auction, I offer for your bidding pleasure a signed Northwood Three Fruits Collar Base Ruffled Bowl. It meausures 8 1/2"across at its widest and comes to you in great shape with no chips, cracks or repairs. T is one spot along the rim w it was pulled funny from the mold and the 'tooth' design is malformed. It is N-O-T damaged and totally factory original.

As to the color of this piece, I am at a bit of a loss. To me, it looks like a Clambroth or Light Smoke. On Doty's website he lists a 'ginger ale' color, but I have never seen that live to be able to give this a definitive yes or no for same. What I can tell you is that my outdoor, natural light shot is a great representation on the true color. I welcome commentary from anyone who can give a definite call on the color. The iridescence is fantastic. It is a nice, even satin all the way through with LOTS of aqua, pink and gold highlights.

This is a great example of a well collected pattern. Given its color, I would imagine it could easily enter itself as a singular addition to the finest of collections. Don't let it slip by!

For priority mail shipments, we charge what the post office charges us. For parcel post, in addition to the cost of shipment, we charge about 50% of the difference between priority and parcel posts to defray the cost of materials. About 95% or more of what we ship is extremely fragile. Almost nothing we sell can be tossed in a box and sent out. To that end, it is nearly impossible to enter an accurate shipping figure on the auction page; ours is an ESTIMATE. We wrap all of our items in bubble wrap and peanuts and use proper size, sturdy boxes for shipment. In nearly 4,000 packages of glass we have shipped around the world in our career as glass dealers, we have had only 2 losses. We use a proper balance of quality products, good judgment, and business savvy to get you your item intact and in an economical manner.

Most everything we sell is used and vintage and much of that is hand made. In our descriptions we call all known chips, cracks or repairs and if t are other glaring areas of concern, we will mention those as well. Included in that, but not limited to, would be excessive wear, gross inconsistencies, or anything that 'stands out' as unusual or noteworthy.

The absence of a specific concern you have regarding condition does NOT mean that a piece is "perfect". For example, we do not consider small straw or tooling marks damage as they were done at a factory and are not post-production issues. If you have individual concerns regarding issues like that, please contact us in advance so that we can address your concerns and provide additional pictures if necessary.
