This is an original souvenir from the "SOUTH CAROLINA INTERSTATE AND WEST INDIAN EXPOSITION - 1901-1902 - CHARLESTON, S.C." Made of nickel plated brass. This is a coin holder for four denominations of coins: CENT, NICKEL, DIME QUARTER. The top of the holder show raised images from the Exposition. The back of the holder has the denominations for the various coins with each being spring loaded for accepting the coins. The holder measures approx. (2" x 2 1/4") and is (1/2") deep. Overall, very good, original condition. The surface has some wear with a little brass coloring showing through and t No dents or damage. The coin slot springs are all tight and work perfectly.
