Hi, You are considering: Caroline and Her Friends, by Pierre Probst NOTE: this is NOT the American treasury; it is the British Treasury. Just as rare, just as thick and juicy-but the stories (5) and character names (beside Caroline) differ. My favorite story is Journey to the North Pole. I ordered this sight unseen thinking we had gotten the American one. We read this carefully and decided to list it reluctantly. Our kids love, love, love Caroline too,but we have read the stories enough that we can let go of some! :O) This is an Oversized rare book, approx. 9in. by 12in. again NOT the American Treasury-as I was confused by thsi detail! Caroline and her Friends, illustrated by Pierre Probst! Hamlyn, London, Treasury of Caroline stories-This is the Golden Pleasure British Treasury-with 5 stories inside, 1. A Camping Holiday 2. A Trip Round Europe 3. At the Ranch 4. Winter Sports 5. Journey to the North Pole-this is ONLY in this treasury! Condition: Acceptable, low starting bid-very rare to find- SEE PHOTO-Good reading copy. Cloth spine is worn, all pages intact but must be read with care to keep pages intact. Chipping and heavy rubbing to edges of pictorial cardboard outside cover; Pages still beautifully illustrated-no marks! There is a little wobble -spine is strong but pages must be turned carefully and delicately to turn.
