RARE Ron Lee Musical Carousel. They say this is the "Greatest Musical Carousel Ever Made" by American artist Ron Lee. This limited edition 1984 carousel was sold by F.A.O. Swartz in New York. Very few of these carousels were ever made, and no two are the same. The coloring is spectacular, carousel turns and plays with no issues. They sold between $12-15,000.00 in 1980's dollars. This musical marvel comes with a wood stand. The carousel stands 24" high and 22" wide and weighs over 50 lbs. It features the following: 24K gold plating 128 flashing lights (please note 3 of the lights need to be replaced) Plays 16 different patriotic and carnival tunes 16 carousel animals, 8 of which move up & down sequentially Animals all brightly painted- Horses, Lions, Ostriches, Roosters, Tigers, Moose, Giraffe, & Camels Oak Base in spectacular condition Cherubs & Angels on either side of upper casting mirrors. # 97/250 limited edition Twisted candy cane posts - Please note a couple of the posts have loss of metal finish I have posted two links below playing 2 of the 16 songs the carousel plays Links to musical videos (2) :http://youtu.be/ex5kaFfsXgU http://youtu.be/fcEU0PoW7lk You will be hard pressed to find another musical carousel in this condition at this price.
