I do however still package all of my items in new jewelry boxes, carefully packed in new shipping boxes which I provide for free. I will gladly ship with whichever shipping option my customers prefer to use and will only ask for actual shipping charges, no package or handling fees. Please note that insurance is HIGHLY advised but is optional. I can not be responsible for what happens to packages once I deliver it to the post office. I do my utmost best to ship items the day following reciept of payment, but t are times when I may need up to 4 days to get to the post office, anything beyond that and I will contact you. ~ Carved Bakelite Pair of Owls Pin ~ is a delightful new pin which I've carved from vintage bakelite/catalin depicting a pair of owls perched on a branch. Carved completely from bakelite, the owls have a black color for their bodies, an inlaid marbled pale orange for the faces/masks, orange for the beaks, yellow for the talons and a transparent golden amber for the eyes( which has a bit of gold dust-glitter mixed into it) and black bakelite pupils. The branch is also carved from vintage bakelite in a marbled brown color. This is a dandy pin not only for wearing year round but especially for during the fall and Halloween season. The pin is very detailed and dimensional, it measures just a bit under 3 inches at the longest measurement, nearly 1/2 inch thick and hangs perfectly from a nickel silver pin component secured to the back. I also inscribed my signature and the date on the back.
