Piano Lyre Back Chair & Music Stand The piano is relatively new. I purchased it and it was too large for my mini house. It has a removeable piece under the lid that looks like piano strings. The lid can be propped open by resting it on the music holder. It measures 5.25" long, 5" wide, and almost 3" high with the lid closed. The music stand is 5.5" high. It came with a furnished dollhouse I acquired but displays so well with the piano that they just have to stay together. Given the age of the house and content, this piece is likely from the 1970's. The sheet music is attached with that waxy stuff we mini collectors use to hold things in place and can be removed easily. Finally, the chair. This is a really nice piece. It appears to be artisan made. The bottom is not stained and it just looks like something that was finely crafted. There are a couple of small nicks on one back leg and a small 1/8" stain on the seat. See my other auctions for more dolls, dollhouses, and furniture! Good luck and .
