THE OUTSIDE IS A FRAME WITH VERY EDWARDIAN ETCHINGS THAT ARE PERFECT FOR THE CENTRAL SUBJECT. THERE IS A BLACK IRREGULAR MARK ON THE TOP RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THIS FRAME, IT IS NATURAL TO THE STONE. THE INTERIOR IS A PIECE OF CARVED MARBLE OF A LADY IN PROFILE WITH A CLOTH OVER HER HEAD. IT MAY BE THE SUBJECT OF A RENNAISANCE LADY OR IT MAY REPRESENT A RELIGIOUS FIGURE. THE CARVING IS WELL DONE AND IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THERE IS THE TINIEST FLAKE ON THE EDGE OF THE GARMENT OVER HER HEAD, BUT THAT IS THE ONLY ITEM TO MENTION. , I HAVE A 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACK RATING AND THANK YOU FOR VIEWING AND BIDDING.
