Dressed Pig - Manners Makyth Man

This listing is a 15" x 6 1/2" sturdy what appears to be hand carved oak encased beveled mirror. It depicts an anthropomorphic or dressed pig holding fireplace tools standing on a perch captioned "Trusty Servant: It is surrounded by the motto of Winchester College Manners Makyth Man and the dates 1393-1893 . A college shield below. It is for the 500 year anniversary of Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England, U.K. Condition: some separations in wood (dried with age). Generalized light wear.
