Rick Armstrong Collection Limited Edition Barlow Knife. No Reserve, of course!! :)Rick Armstrong of Florida has asked me to auction off some of his special Case Classics and other highly collectible knives. Rick, a long time friend to Jim Parker, has assembled a remarkable Classic collection and knife collection over the years. Rick often made special trips to Chattanooga, TN to spend the weekend at Jim Parker's office. He would arrive first thing Saturday morning ready to trade for the day!! He has a great passion for knives and fell in love with the Classic collection from the start. Jim and Rick's friendship spanned over several years and Rick has acquired some super rare specimans in the Classic line as well as Pristine Mint normal run piecesand other collectible knives. I also have the privalege of having Rick's friendship. He runs a large company in Florida and has asked me to auction some of his Case Classics. Rick has also attended many of the national knife shows. His discriminating taste in knives has built a really nice and rare collection that he plans to run on eBay. I will list them for him as he asks me to. This is one of the Limited Edition Series knives from Case. These have been put out for quite a few years now and they are each unique as well as limited to only 2500 made. This is the 1996 Limited II Barlow. The knife is 3 3/8" closed. The Case item number is 2973 and the pattern number is 62009 1/2 SS. The knife has the special Limited Edition "Case XX long bar" style shield. This knife has the Green Corn Cob Bone handle.
