This item for auction is the 3rd Edition W.R. Case & Sons Case 1997 Ertl Issue 1950 Chevrolet Bullnose Pickup Truck with the Case Chestnut Bone Peanut Knife. As you can see, this hadn't even been opened from the factory until I took the photographs. I had to snip the tape on the styrofoam to get to the truck, and then unwrap it from the original white wrapping. This 1950 Chevrolet Bullnose Pickup Truck features the Case XX logo on the side. The Case Peanut is 2 7/8" closed and features the Case XX USA with 3 Dots stamp, dating this as a 1997 issue knife. The rear tang of the small Spear blade is pattern stamped with 6220 SS. The knife is serial numbered on the nickel silver bolster with the Case Long Tail C and #0793. Please see the 12 Supersize Photos. This 3rd Edition Case Ertl Truck & Knife Combo currently books for $340.00 and is pretty much as factory fresh as you can get. This 1997 issue 3rd Edition Case Peanut and Ertl produced 1950 Chevrolet Bullnose Pickup Truck Combo is mint in the original issue boxes (the Case item number is #01868) with Certificate Of Authenticity and being offered at No Reserve.
