Case Classic 71072 glitter stripe prototype. Knife measures 5 1/2" long closed. The handles are in excellent condition, no chips or cracks, no shrinkage, beautiful bright colors. The large clip blade is tang stamped "W.R. Case & Sons Bradford, Pa 19 USA 63". The blade is clean except for a few very small light grey colored spots on the front side just to the front of the blade etch toward the point (see pictures). May be a result of the etching process. Spots do not take away from the overall appearance of the knife, but need to be mentioned. The blade has an elephant and "The King Of The Beast" etched on the front side. The reverse side of the blade is engraved " Prototype". The knife is tight with great blade snap. Handle has the Case oval shield. Comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity from Parker's Knife Collector Service. Overall condition is pristine except for the few small spots already mentioned. A real beauty. Pictures do not do it justice. Not many of these around. A great addition to any classics collection. I will ship USPS Priorty insured mail within two business days of receipt of payment.
