This is a 1992 produced Prototype Case Classic 71072 Clasp Knife pattern for auction. This knife is 5 3/8" closed and features the pinned on Case Oval shield and the Goldflake scales. This is the Case Tested XX model, featuring the tang stamp reading Case Tested XX 19 USA 92. The rear side of the blade is pattern stamped with Tested XX 71072 and marked with "Prototype". Additionally, this knife features the Case XX Buffalo blade etching. This 1992 Prototype issue Goldflake Case XX Buffalo etched Clasp knife is in mint condition in the 2 piece Case Tested XX Case Classic box with Letter of Authenticity and being offered at No Reserve.
