You are looking at a Case Classic Large Stockman. It is pattern No.6340. This is a beautiful knife in Mint condition. No spots or blemishes at all. This knife is the last pattern produced in the popular Classic series. The stag handled knife was the last of the 6340 pattern made. That final knife had a blade etching of Final Production Run -- Case Classic Series - Saved Best For Last. T were overrun knives produced in each handle material and anyone who had agreed to purchase the entire set was offered these overrun knives for purchase. This knife is the overrun of that last stag handled knife. (So I guess in reality this is the final knife in the Classic series!!) Handles are beautiful stag. Check out the way this stag swells to super fat in the center of the knife...Beautiful!! I purchased the set from Smoky Mt. Knife Works. Back then when you agreed to purchase the set they would ship you the newly available knife. I am breaking up my set and selling each individually.
